The WordPress stat monkeys have been busy crunching numbers on the Doughies blog, and have prepared a fun 2015 annual report.
Here’s an excerpt:
A New York City subway train holds 1,200 people. This blog was viewed about 7,800 times in 2015. If it were a NYC subway train, it would take about 7 trips to carry that many people.

This got us thinking about other doughie happenings this year; new years eve being a great time to reflect, and here’s what’s been fermenting at doughies this year:-
a) We started and finished writing the first version of a guide on sourdough starters. It’s now out with some beta readers. More to follow.
b) We got a new ROFCO oven; and baked a lot of sourdough bread and pizza for personal consumption, whilst living in a caravan, building a house and growing a family.
c) We started to think about growing wheat and oats from seed up in the highlands, and were excited about the launch of Scotland the bread.
d) We went back to school and did a 6 day social enterprise course with the social enterprise academy, and got thinking about the why behind doughies.
So what will 2016 bring? Well let’s just say this doughie fermentation is nearly ready to bake…
