The beauty – My first attempt at a 4 strand plaited bread. Will be cutting into this as soon as it’s cool enough!
The beast – Hmm, another first attempt – this is a wholemeal sourdough rye bread… looks like a brick, feels like a brick, tastes like a … well I won’t find out till tomorrow as apparently rye bread is best eaten the day after baking – so watch this space.
